How to create a business card layout in Illustrator

Step 1: To make the layout for your business card you are first going to need to select the appropriate size for the layout to be correct. First open your Illustrator document and select file and the new.

Step 2: Once the menu come up, to create both sides of the business card you are going to need to make sure that you choose 2 art boards, after you do this then change the size of the layout to 88mm width and 55mm height. It is your own choice whether or not you wish to put bleeds onto the document.

Step 3: Once you have made all of the right measurements you need to click ok. When you click ok the document should cause up with 2 different art boards on them that you can change to your own preference

Step 4: At this point you will be able to design the business card any way you want and you will also then be able to put any design print on it that you wish.

Here is a final business card design that I did for one of my own assignments. This card itself did not take that long to create and was pretty simple to do with the help of some tutorials online.
