How to place in and edit shapes in Photoshop
Step 1: Open up your Photoshop application and create or open an existing file by going to file “Open” or file “New”
Step 2: Once you click “Ok” and create or open the document. If you do not have a shape in the document create a normal shape by choosing the “Rectangle Tool”. Once you have chosen this draw a shape on your document.
Step 3: Once you have your shape, you can change the colour of it by clicking the small squares on the left hand side of your screen. Whenever you have your shape go to the layer of the shape and double click on that click which will bring up the layer style window.
Step 4: Once you get the window up you will be able to use the different categories for the shape, for example I will add a stroke to the shape I have made. To do this click the tick box for stroke and click on the box itself also.
Step 5: In this window you will be able to change the colour of the stroke and also the size of the stroke. For example, I will change the colour to a green and change the stoke size to 20. Once you have done this click “Ok” and it will create a boarder on the shape.
